Matrimonial Services

Matrimonial matters involve some of the most sensitive and personal aspects of law. At Advocate Panel, we provide structured legal guidance in all areas of family and matrimonial law, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, dignity, and lawful resolution. Our services address a range of issues including divorce, maintenance, custody, domestic violence, and mutual settlements—ensuring that each matter is approached with legal precision and respect for the individuals involved.

Areas of Practise

Divorce Proceedings

We handle both contested and mutual consent divorce matters under relevant personal laws such as the Hindu Marriage Act, Special Marriage Act, and others. Legal assistance includes filing petitions, drafting agreements, representing clients during hearings, and ensuring procedural compliance.

Maintenance and Alimony

Clients may seek or contest financial support through provisions under Section 125 CrPC, the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, or other applicable laws. We provide advisory and representation for interim and permanent maintenance, spouse and child support, and financial claims in divorce proceedings.

Child Custody and Visitation

Custody disputes require carefully balancing legal rights with the best interests and overall welfare of the child. We assist in obtaining interim or permanent custody, establishing detailed visitation rights, and modifying existing custody orders through court procedures, mediation, or mutually negotiated terms.

Domestic Violence and Protection Orders

Under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, we offer assistance to individuals seeking protection from abuse, harassment, or neglect. Services include filing of complaints, representation in Magistrate’s court, and securing residence or protection orders.

Judicial Separation and Annulment

For clients not opting for divorce, we help in pursuing judicial separation or annulment of marriage based on valid legal grounds, ensuring procedural correctness and due representation.

Restitution of Conjugal Rights

We also assist clients in filing or defending petitions under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act and similar provisions in other personal laws for the restoration of matrimonial relations.

Our Approach

Matrimonial cases often require not only legal strategy but also careful handling of interpersonal dynamics. At Advocate Panel, we follow a balanced approach—prioritizing resolution through negotiation and mediation where possible, and proceeding to litigation only when necessary. All matters are handled with confidentiality, legal prudence, and a commitment to client dignity.
